O Ramon Llull Institute prepares the 39th edition of the Book Week in Catalan, which will have as main event the Making Catalan Literature Travel for International Publishers and Agents. This year, due to sanitary restrictions caused by the COVID pandemic, the event will take place virtually.
The new edition of Making Catalan Literature Travel for International Publishers and Agents, included in the schedule of the Book Week in Catalan, will be attended by 14 editorial professionals from the following countries: Brazil (Editora Mundaréu), Germany, Russia, Iran, Italy, Lebanon, Algeria and Serbia. They will meet representatives of the publishing sector in Catalonia, who will present their most important titles and literary bets. In all, will be 270 news. The event will also serve to deepen the knowledge of the illustration and literary fiction in Catalan language.

About the organization of Book Week in Catalan – 2021
According to published note by the Ramon Llull Institute, an audiovisual decalogue on the Ten Most Relevant Characteristics of Catalan Language Fiction. This publication will precede the session on literary fiction in Catalan. In addition to this session, there will be one on the publishing sector in Catalan, and another on illustration in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands.
O Making Catalan Literature Travel for International Publishers and Agents aims to promote the internationalization of publishing in the Catalan language, and contribute to the professionalization of one of the most important annual cultural events in Catalonia, the Book Week in Catalan.
